This week I have amongst others a lovely Montblanc Meisterstück 149 for sale in the original box and papers from the 1980’s. As you might know the 149 has the nickname “Cigar” because of it’s size, or rather it’s thickness, it is slightly larger than a more common 146 but a lot thicker. It is the largest standard Meisterstück model that Montblanc produces (some special editions like the Patron of Arts are larger).
As you might know the third digit (in this case 9) of the model number represents the nib size, which is enormous and is always a pleasure to look at.
